SHARE IDEAS

We invite you to contribute tips, ideas and stories that you have stumbled upon in caregiving. We will consider them for the Second Edition of this book.

In large and small ways, caregivers improvise and bring something new to the table, often on a daily basis. There are countless ways this creative spark appears…

It can be an idea to resolve a practical issue – How can I reduce the evening anxiety about 'going home'?

Or it might be a way to re-frame a situation to infuse the moment with a different mood – What can I do when I first wake up to inspire a sense of gratitude, instead of focusing on what is difficult right now?

Some caregivers have long stories to tell, others just have a quick idea to share. (For example, one woman sewed taps on the bottom of her mother’s slippers so she could join in the tap dancing from her wheelchair.) So…stories to tips…all is fair game.

If you would like to review your submission before we print it in our book (or use a pseudonym) please let us know.
